Some people are just meant to be so fucking annoying they ruin my tights.
Today I dressed like a widow. (But really, I could’ve lost a sibling, a parent, knock on wood.)
People were generally nicer. The lady at the computer shop was polite. An acquaintance I did not wish to acknowledge remained quiet in the jeepney. The waiter at the restaurant kept refilling my bowl of soup. The mosquitoes stayed away after my first kill.
Will I clothe myself in black when the time comes? Will I want loved ones to do the same when my turn is up?
